Shoshone, Idaho

St. Peter’s Catholic Church

The community of St. Peter is rich in history. It is one of the most historic churches in Idaho. Aside from Cataldo Mission church, very few churches can claim to be around since the 1800’s.  The community of St. Peter is located in the city of Shoshone, with a population about 1,500.  It is very close to the city hall, in the corner of B street.  It is composed of three different buildings: the parish hall, the rectory and the main church. The community members are diverse. Many members have been at the parish since their childhood, others have recently incorporated. All are welcome to come to attend mass at this most historic church, located also in a most historic town of Shoshone. A historic church, with members to remember!
